Our kiln-dried firewood is certified under the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme, the UK's official mark for wood fuel that is dry enough to burn cleanly and legally. Certified wood must be at or below 20 percent moisture, and ours is tested batch by batch before it leaves the yard.
Our certification number is WS721. You will find it printed on every bag we send out, and you can check it on the Woodsure register.
Burning certified dry wood produces more heat, less smoke and less tar in your flue, and meets the government's air quality rules for domestic wood burning.
Our compost is produced to PAS100, the UK quality standard for compost made from biodegradable waste. It is peat free, made entirely from recycled green material, and screened before it goes in the bag.
