Pick your day at checkout and we turn up on it, 8am to 6pm. The system is simple on purpose, and it works the same every time. That is why "on time" appears in so many of our reviews.
Every batch is kiln-dried and moisture-tested before it leaves Winchfield, certified under Woodsure Ready to Burn, number WS721. Dry wood is not a promise here, it is a number.
Order in the morning and it is confirmed by a human who knows the round. If something ever needs sorting, you call the yard and we sort it. No call centres, no scripts, no passing the buck.
William Alexander Logs is a handful of people at a yard on Bagwell Lane, Winchfield. No warehouse, no call centre, no agency drivers. The same few pairs of hands dry the wood, test every batch, pack every bag, load the vans and drive the round.
Alex started the business in 2016 and still runs it from the yard. Tom is usually the voice when you ring and often the one at your door. Call 01252 416123 any day of the week, 8am to 6pm, and you get one of us, never a script.
That is the whole operation: the yard, the drying crates, two vans, and a team small enough to remember your name and your log store. It is why 210 people have left us five stars, and nobody has left us less.

I started this business in 2016 with one van and a simple idea: firewood is only half the product. The other half is everything around it. Turning up on the day we said. Putting the bags where you want them. Answering the phone ourselves.
We have no outside investors and no plans for any. That means nobody pushes us to cut a corner, and every decision gets made the same way: will this customer order from us again next winter? Ten winters and 210 five-star reviews later, I think the idea was right.
We work hard to keep our prices the best they can be for what you get. I will not make the wood cheaper by making it worse.
Pay online, then choose delivery on the day that suits you, or collect from the yard.
Choose your logs or compost and pay securely by card.
Pick a delivery day that suits you, or collect from the yard on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons.
Delivered 8am to 6pm on your day, or loaded into your boot at the yard.
Dry out of the bag. Light your first fire that same evening.
We are asking you to buy firewood from people you have never met. This is what you can hold us to.
Every batch is moisture-tested before it leaves the yard, certified Woodsure Ready to Burn WS721. If a bag ever is not right, tell us and we will put it right. No forms, no fuss.
The day you pick is the day we come, 8am to 6pm. If anything ever threatens the schedule, you get a call from us first, not silence.
Log store, shed, side gate: the bags go exactly where you point. Never a loose pile tipped on the drive, and the place is left as we found it.
Ring the yard on 01252 416123 and someone who loaded the van answers. Seven days a week, 8am to 6pm.
PAS100 peat-free compost, moved to your beds for you.
Kiln-dried, priced by the bag, cheaper the more you buy.
