The Easy Bag

Barrow Bags were great. Easy Bags are even better.

Easy by name, easy by nature. Easy Bags were created for customers who wanted the same premium firewood in a lighter, easier-to-handle package with more storage capabilities. Each bag is moved by us to anywhere you need it around your property. Available in Oak and Alder, each bag weighs around 20–25kg. Each bag stacks neatly and stays protected until you're ready to use it. If you're looking for Mixed Hardwood or Hornbeam, these remain available in our Barrow Bags.

moisture level.

Every log is kiln-dried to below 20% moisture and certified under the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme (WS721). Less moisture means easier lighting, more heat and a cleaner burn with less smoke.

It also helps reduce soot and creosote build-up in your chimney, supporting a safer, more efficient fire.

How much does a bag of firewood cost? +
Barrow Bags start from £48.50 and Easy Bags from £16.50, and the price per bag drops the more you order. Pick your wood and bag style on this page and the exact price updates as you go.
How quickly can you deliver? +
Most local orders are delivered within a few days of ordering, on the day you choose at checkout. You will get live updates on delivery day so you know when to expect us.
What happens if I'm not home for delivery? +
No problem. Tell us a safe place at checkout, such as round the back or beside the garage, and we will leave your bags there. We place every order exactly where you would like it, whether you're in or out.
How should I store my firewood? +
Keep it somewhere dry and with a little airflow, such as a log store, shed, garage or covered spot against a wall. Our bags are weatherproof for the delivery itself, but for long-term storage a covered space keeps your logs at their best.
How many bags will I need for winter? +
It depends on how often you burn, but as a guide, a log burner used most evenings gets through around 15 Easy Bags across a season. Use the quick guide further down this page and it will recommend a bag count for you.
Is your firewood ready to burn straight away? +
Yes. Every batch is kiln-dried below 20% moisture and certified under the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme (WS721), so it's ready to burn as soon as it arrives, no seasoning or drying out needed.
What's the difference between Easy Bags and Barrow Bags? +
Easy Bags weigh 20 to 25kg and can be carried by one person, ideal for smaller stores or car boots. Barrow Bags weigh 60 to 70kg and are wheeled to your store on a sack trolley. Both hold the same kiln-dried quality, just in different sizes.
Do you deliver to my area? +
We deliver locally within about 25 miles of our yard in Winchfield, Hampshire, and free of charge over £150. Outside that, our third-party courier delivers our Easy Bags nationwide on a pallet. Pop your postcode into the checker above and we'll tell you straight away.
Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered? +
Yes. Choose collection at checkout and pick a Tuesday or Thursday, 1pm to 5pm, including same day where there's time. Collection is free, and we'll load your order into your vehicle for you.
How do I pay, and is it secure? +
You pay securely by card at checkout, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely and we never see or store your card details.
